I love the natural beauty of Laos and my favorite place to discover the scenery is the northern Luang Prabang Province.
You can travel by road about 3.5 hours to Nong Khiaw, a small village in the mountains by the Nam Ou River with a laid-back, tranquil atmosphere. It's the perfect place to spend a few days and enjoy activities like soft trekking through villages, kayaking, home stays or camping.
For nature lovers, I recommend taking a boat trip along the Nam Ou - less famous than the Mekong but just as spectacular. Travelers in search of long lasting memories through human encounters and natural wonders should head to this area.

One of the great aspects about my job is that each summer I have the opportunity of going on research trips to discover and learn about new travel destinations. I really love to travel around Vietnam and am always amazed by the fascinating culture my beautiful country has to offer.
My last trip took me to the Mekong Delta where I witnessed a local lady rowing a small sampan boat while wearing a traditional "Ao ba ba" outfit. I was so impressed by the image of her graceful beauty, and the local Mekong Delta shirt she was wearing as it was the most charming costume I had ever seen in the region. In fact, I liked it so much that when I returned to Ho Chi Minh City, I decided to have one tailor-made for myself and now I really love wearing it with a pair of jeans when I go out with my friends!
So naturally, I am now really looking forward to my next Mekong trip so that I can enjoy more of it's inspiring cultural beauty... and maybe make some more fashionable local-style clothing!

I just returned back home last 19th November after my long trip in Southeast Asia - Myanmar, Thailand, Southern Laos, Vietnam.
As promised I would like to send you this feedback regarding the trip in Myanmar. It was marvelous and my dream is now a reality. We had a real good time preparing the trip, changes, choosing the best itinerary and I honestly think we did it well, and thanks to your efficient and good work, everything ran very smooth, perfect and without problems.
I would say the trekking from Kalaw to Inle Lakewas one of the most beautiful experiences in our lives. It's not so hard, and the landscapes are so beautiful ! The porters helped us a lot, and the cooking was excellent. The meals were perfect. Overnight in the monastery was also an experience.
Highly recommended this trekking like we did it. For those clients who like to walk, and accept the accommodation like it is, I would say it's a different way to know the country, to breathe the clean air, to be in the nature.
Myanmar is a beautiful country and we try to convince our friends and relatives they should come and visit it. Exotissimo is a good reference for those who like to travel around Southeast Asia, as I could see either in Laos or Vietnam.
Warmest regards,
Roser Giner
